Øystein Olsen Vadsten, født 1965 i Oslo har sin bakgrunn fra et bredt spekter av musikkstiler, og bruker dette aktivt i sine komposisjoner ag arrangementer.
Han er trombonist og har sitt daglige virke i Kulturskolene på Ringerike og Jevnaker. Han har dirigert en anselig mengde amatørkorps på Østlandet og har bl. a. engasjementer for Norges Musikkorps forbund og Østnorsk Jazzsenter.
Øystein Olsen Vadsten, born in 1965 (Oslo), has been working in a broad specter of musical fields, and uses this to the fullest in his compositions and arrangements.
He is a trombonist and has his daily work in the School of Art in Ringerike and Jevnaker. He has been conducting many wind bands in Norway and do, among other things, projects for the Norwegian Band Association and Jazz Association.
