Aurora Australis, the Southern polar lights, as I observed them during my stays in Australia and New Zealand. The introductory part of the composition: I am on a trip in the Blue Mountains, meeting a native Aboriginal painted with typical red ornaments. He plays the didgeridoo. He manages the so-called "eternal breath" techique, because he plays without interruption. I ask him if I can try it too. He lends me a didgeridoo and I'm trying to "play". Despite of my pathetic results he claims that "you are a talent ...". I keep my own opinion ... In the middle part of the Toccata in Pedal is a quote from the most famous Australian folk song "Waltzing Matilda", which was originally supposed to be the anthem of Australia.
